ResMed AirFit™ N20 Nasal CPAP Mask
$74.00
The adaptive ResMed AirFit™ N20 nasal mask is designed to be extremely flexible and offers a comfortable fit, soft mask cushion, and reliable seal for 99% of patients.
ResMed AirFit™ N20 Nasal CPAP Mask Overview
The AirFit™ CPAP mask series has been thoughtfully designed based on the input of over 350 CPAP users worldwide. AirFit™ N20 mask features the most advanced technologies in the sleep apnea treatment industry. The flexible frame adapts to different facial types, which allows for a perfect mask fit night after night. ResMed's InfinitySeal cushion is proven to fit 99% of all faces with no airflow leakage.
The AirFit™ N20 nasal cushion mask is ideal for active sleepers who don’t need the full nose and mouth coverage that a full face mask provides, but may not like the feel of a nasal pillow mask. The compact, low profile design combined with the swivel connector for elbow and short tube ensures full freedom of movement. There is no forehead support on the N20, which allows for reading and watching TV easily with an open line of sight.
A hypoallergenic silicone cushion conforms to your face to provide a secure seal as you move through different sleep positions while still remaining soft and comfortable. The AirFit™ N20 cushion is thicker with integrated padding at the nose bridge to help you sleep better and reduce irritation and red marks. Magnetic clips allow for easy detachment of the mask from the headgear in one step. This, combined with the QuickRelease™ elbow assembly with swivel connector ensures easy on and off.
Please note: the mask headgear does not automatically come with the order. If you'd like your purchase to include a headgear, please select your option.
Add the N20 AirMini™ mask connector to your AirMini™ travel CPAP machine and the N20 becomes the ideal travel mask for sleep therapy on-the-go!
Per ResMed, please note the following about this mask’s magnetic contraindications:
Update to Contraindication
In an update to the previously contraindicated metallic aneurysm hemostatic clips in the head and metallic splinters in one or both eyes following a penetrating eye injury, ResMed is further contraindicating the use of its masks with magnets for patients where they, or anyone in close physical contact while using the mask (e.g., bed partner), have the following:
- Active medical implants that interact with magnets (i.e., pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICD), neurostimulators, cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) shunts, insulin/infusion pumps)
- Metallic implants/objects containing ferromagnetic material (i.e., aneurysm clips/flow disruption devices, embolic coils, stents, valves, electrodes, implants to restore hearing or balance with implanted magnets, ocular implants, metallic splinters in the eye)
Update to Warning
The safe distance to the magnets has been increased from 2 inches (50 mm), and patients are now warned to keep the mask magnets at a safe distance of 6 inches (150 mm) away from implants or medical devices that may be adversely impacted by magnetic interference. This applies to patients, or anyone in close physical contact with the mask magnets.
Note, not all models or manufactured variants of medical devices listed in the contraindications are affected by external magnetic fields. Only those that interact with magnets or contain ferromagnetic materials present the potential for magnetic interference.
For more information: please reach out to ResMed directly; CPAPsupplies.com does not have any additional details on this update. Visit www.resmed.com/magnetupdate for more details and the appropriate contact information.
