$124.00
Designed to fit virtually everyone, the popular AirFit™ F20 Full Face CPAP mask by ResMed is compact yet effective at any airflow pressure and a range of sleeping positions.
ResMed AirFit™ F20 Full Face CPAP Mask Assembly Kit Overview
The adaptive ResMed AirFit™ F20 full face mask elements fit an astounding 97% of patients. The F20 features a high-performance spring frame and a flexible, ultrasoft InfinitySeal cushion. The F20 is perfect for those who need high-pressure sleep apnea treatment with a full face cushion for nose and mouth coverage, but don’t want to skimp on comfort or performance. The lightweight, flexible frame ensures a clear sightline for reading/watching TV, ideal for those who sometimes feel claustrophobic during therapy.
The soft, dual-wall InfinitySeal silicone cushion comfortably contours the face, ensuring a secure mask fit for a variety of facial shapes and sizes. Even the sensitive nose bridge and chin areas are softly contoured, minimizing the discomfort and red marks typical with many full-face CPAP mask cushions. The cushion seal remains robust and effective all night, even at strong CPAP therapy pressures.
Please note: headgear does not automatically come with the order. If you'd like your purchase the CPAP mask with headgear, please select your option. The plush headgear straps are designed in a way to minimize pressure points and pinching, and the absence of forehead support means that users have an open field of vision. The headgear features adjustable velcro tabs to find the perfect fit, as well as magnetic clips to guide it easily into place. The quick-release elbow allows users to quickly disconnect from CPAP machine without removing the entire mask.
To keep your AirFit™ F20 in good working order, and your sleep therapy effective, it’s important to replace individual parts when lost or worn out. You can individually purchase the ResMed AirFit™ F20 cushion, the AirFit™ headgear with clips, or the AirFit™ mask assembly kit without headgear, all without prescription.
Add an AirMini™ mask connector to your AirMini™ travel CPAP machine and the F20 becomes the ideal travel mask for sleep therapy on-the-go!
Per ResMed, please note the following about this mask’s magnetic contraindications:
Update to Contraindication
In an update to the previously contraindicated metallic aneurysm hemostatic clips in the head and metallic splinters in one or both eyes following a penetrating eye injury, ResMed is further contraindicating the use of its masks with magnets for patients where they, or anyone in close physical contact while using the mask (e.g., bed partner), have the following:
- Active medical implants that interact with magnets (i.e., pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICD), neurostimulators, cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) shunts, insulin/infusion pumps)
- Metallic implants/objects containing ferromagnetic material (i.e., aneurysm clips/flow disruption devices, embolic coils, stents, valves, electrodes, implants to restore hearing or balance with implanted magnets, ocular implants, metallic splinters in the eye)
Update to Warning
The safe distance to the magnets has been increased from 2 inches (50 mm), and patients are now warned to keep the mask magnets at a safe distance of 6 inches (150 mm) away from implants or medical devices that may be adversely impacted by magnetic interference. This applies to patients, or anyone in close physical contact with the mask magnets.
Note, not all models or manufactured variants of medical devices listed in the contraindications are affected by external magnetic fields. Only those that interact with magnets or contain ferromagnetic materials present the potential for magnetic interference.
For more information: please reach out to ResMed directly; CPAPsupplies.com does not have any additional details on this update. Visit www.resmed.com/magnetupdate for more details and the appropriate contact information.
