Transcend's AirMist™ Universal Inline CPAP Heat Moisture Exchange provides compact and convenient waterless humidification during CPAP therapy by capturing heat and moisture from the air you exhale and recycling it into the air you inhale, eliminating the need for a water chamber and providing natural moisture for your sleep apnea treatment while you're traveling, camping, or outdoors and away from standard power outlets. Designed for use with the Transcend Micro Series Travel CPAP Machines, the AirMist™ HME system is also universally compatible with any CPAP mask and CPAP machine that uses standard 22mm tubing and does not utilize heated humidification capabilities.
Transcend AirMist Universal Inline CPAP Heat Moisture Exchange Overview
Compact and lightweight in design, the AirMist™ Heat Moisture Exchange (HME) by Transcend can be easily installed into your existing CPAP setup without requiring adapters.
The Transcend AirMist™ connects easily to any standard CPAP mask and machine that utilizes standard 22mm tubing and does not utilize an integrated heated humidification system.
Once installed, the AirMist™ HME system recycles heat and mositure from your exhaled air back into the air you inhale, eliminating the need to carry a water chamber and distilled water with you to simplify your CPAP travel setup while providing the humidification you need during sleep apnea therapy for optimal comfort and performance.
This package includes 4 individual AirMist™ replacement cartridges and 1 adapter. The cartridges should be replaced after 5-7 days after opening, regardless of usage time, and the adapter should be replaced after 3 months for optimal therapy performance and safety.
