AirMini Waterless Humidification
The HumidX heat moisture exchange cartridges are the standard for Resmed’s waterless humidification system for their AirMini device. Designed to provide comfort and effective humidification for most climates and sleep environments, the HumidX acts as a humidifier by delivering moisture to the pressurized airflow without the use of, or access to water, by recycling the heat and moisture from your own breath.
Prevent dryness and airway irritation during sleep therapy with the HumidX and HumidX Plus.
Notes:
- The HumidX Plus is intended for use in dry and high altitude climates where humidity is low.
- HumidX and HumidX Plus are only compatible with AirFit N20, AirTouch N20, AirFit N30 and AirFit P10 Resmed Masks.
- The AirFit F20 and AirTouch F20 masks are only compatible with the HumidX F20.
- The AirFit F30 mask is not compatible with any HumidX cartridges.

How to Clean Your AirMini
Regularly cleaning your AirMini machine is vital to making sure you receive optimal sleep apnea therapy. The following sections are meant to assist you with cleaning and checking your AirMini CPAP machine.
Detach all connected components of your AirMini device according to the disassembly instructions in the AirMini user guide and ensure your humidifier is removed.
Inspecting your waterless humidifier (HumidX, HumidX Plus, HumidX F20)
- Inspect daily for signs of damage or blockages caused by dust, dirt, or debris.
- HumidX filter cartridges must be replaced within 30 days after opening the sealed package.
- When your humidifier is not in use, store it in a clean, dry location.
Note: The HumidX waterless humidifier cartridges cannot be washed. If dirt or discoloration is detecting prior to 30 days of opening from the sealed package, discard and replace immediately.
Cleaning your AirMini tubing
- Clean and inspect your air tubing weekly. Your AirMini tubing should be replaced every six months, or sooner if discoloration or damage is detected.
- Wash your AirMini tubing in warm water using a mild, non-abrasive liquid detergent.
- Rinse your air tubing thoroughly and allow to dry in a cool, low-humidity location that is out of direct sunlight.
- Check your AirMini tubing and replace if you detect any holes, tears or cracks, or discoloration.
Note: Do not wash your AirMini tubing in a dishwasher or washing machine.
Cleaning your F20/F30/N20/N30/P10 connector for AirMini
- Clean and check your F20 connector every day. Your F20 connector should be replaced once every six months.
- Wash in warm water using a mild, non-abrasive liquid detergent.
- Clean with a soft bristle brush and make sure you focus extra attention on the vent holes.
- Rinse thoroughly under warm, running water. Shake off any excess water and allow the connector to air dry out of direct sunlight.
- Double check that there is no dirt or debris in the vent holes.
Note: Do not wash in a dishwasher or washing machine.
Cleaning your mask
Refer to the corresponding CPAP mask user guide for instructions on cleaning.
Changing your air filter
Replace reusable air filters at least once every 6 months. Replace disposable air filters at least once every 2 weeks. It cannot be washed.
Replace your air filters sooner if you detect are any holes or blockages caused by dust or debris.
To change your air filter:
- Slide the air filter cover off and remove your old air filter.
- Insert a new air filter and reinstall the air filter cover.
Notes:
- Make sure the air filter cover is installed and secure at all times to prevent water and dust from entering your AirMini CPAP machine.
- The use of Resmed approved hypoallergenic filter will result in a small reduction in the accuracy of the delivered pressure at high leaks.
Cleaning your machineWipe the exterior of your Resmed AirMini CPAP machine with a dry cloth every week.

How Long Do CPAP Machines Last?
CPAP machine lifespans can differ based on various factors such as how well your machine is maintained, how often you use your machine, and the quality of your CPAP device. Generally CPAP machines last an average of 5 years and it is typically recommended to replace your device at that time.
