Fisher & Paykel Nova™ Nasal CPAP Mask Diffuser Overview
The F&P Nova™ Nasal mask is designed with a unique Diffuser System that diffuses air that is expelled from your mask to reduce draft and minimize noise for you and your sleep partner during CPAP therapy. An internal validation trial conducted by Fisher & Paykel showed that 43 out of 43 participants rated the noise level of the F&P Nova™ Nasal mask while sleeping as “quiet” or “very quiet”. The Nova™ Nasal diffuser does not significantly change the amount of air flow coming from your mask; therefore, the mask can be used with or without the Diffuser. Regularly cleaning your CPAP mask parts and components is crucial for avoiding the accumulation of bacteria, debris, oils, and other contaminants.
