Philips Respironics ComfortGel Blue Nasal CPAP Mask Overview

The nasal mask version of the ComfortGel Blue CPAP Mask by Philips Respironics is designed to simplify the mask fitting process while adding more comfort to your OSA therapy.

Designed with a flexible, blue nasal cushion that contours to your unique facial features to simplify fitting and enhance comfort; a soft, redesigned forehead support pad that minimizes pressure points and red marks; and low-profile micro-exhalation ports that quietly diffuse airflow away from the mask, the ComfortGel Blue Nasal is the ideal fit for most nasal CPAP mask users and their sleep companions.

Please note: Respironics has marked the ComfortGel Blue Full Face Mask discontinued, and is no longer listed on our CPAP Mask catalog.

    Fitting Your Mask:

Refer to the fitting diagrams in these instructions.

    1. Position the stability selector to its uppermost position. Hold the mask cushion over your nose. Note: You might want to disconnect the quick clips before putting on your headgear.
    2. Slide the headgear over your head. Reconnect the quick clips after you have the headgear securely in position.
    3. Adjust the headgear over your head, Reconnect the quick clip after you have the headgear in position.
    4. Adjust the headgear evenly using the top and bottom headgear straps. The mask should rest comfortably against your face. Do not overtighten the headgear.
    5. Connect the flexible tubing from your therapy device to the mask elbow. Turn on the airflow.
    6. Minimal leaks are acceptable. Small adjustment are all that are needed to eliminate excessive leaks. Respironics recommends the following adjustments:
    7. Re-set the mask by pulling the mask directly away from your face and set it back into place gently.
    8. For leaks around your eyes, use the stability selector and adjust downward one click at a time.
    9. For leaks around your mouth, a slight adjustment to the lower headgear straps will minimize the leak, do not overtighten.
    10. Make any final adjustments lying down.
